Out and about
We went to the wonderful, quaint Much Wenlock today. It's full of history and picturesque, very old buildings. One above is Raynalds Mansion. We went in the church and the guildhall but didn't bother with the priory ruins.
I did 2 adventure lab geocaches (5 stages each) and a bonus cache while we explored. The labs took you to most places you wanted to go.
We had brews in the Tearoom on the Square which had fabulous murals of the town.
After that we visited Benthall Hall (NT) which was very interesting.
We had a late lunch and then mooched around the antiques place in Ironbridge.
Terry had a nap and I tried but failed so had a little walk along Severnside.
This evening we had chicken jalfrezi at the Black Swan, Jackfield. There was a mix up with our booking but it got sorted and the meal was lovely. Too much food though!
Called briefly to look at Bedlam Furnaces on the drive back and I grabbed another stage of the Visit Historic Ironbridge lab cache.
Back to our apartment, chill out, DVD and some drinks.
