Feeding Time

Throughout the day I have watched robins feeding young - it appeared to be one adult and one chick but there may have been a pair that changed places during that time.

This is the best photo I caught, through the several layers of glass, although I did witness those special moments when the food taken from the feeder was popped onto an open beak.

It was so busy out there that we declined hanging out washing and pressure-washing slabs - neither task was deemed more important than allowing the birds to continue in peace.
