Horner Water

Took loads of photos today and I could have blipped any one of them. Me and Sal went to Horner Woods today, starting off in the farmhouse cafe with a coffee each. The garden is packed with birdlife as it’s an easy meal for them and it also serves as a mini garden centre!
Sal went high in to the woods on her walk to Webbers Post whereas I just followed the bridleway running alongside Horner Water. This is a photo of the beck I sat beside for ages. It tired me out but it was well worth it. When I got back to the house I had a late lunch and fell asleep for over an hour!
Sal heard a cuckoo but no such luck for me.
