Grey Heron

There were 5 Heron today. They all met me at the entrance. The 5 were the little female (pictured), the original young one, the adult male, the male with the dark patch and Hyde who can certainly shake things up. 
I was a bit concerned when the coot came up to meet me with no chicks, however after I gave her a large bit of fish I watched her go under some branches at the edge of the loch where she was met by the 2 chicks. I waited but she didn't come back so the larger piece must have been enough for her.
I then went round to see if I could see the chicks but they are pretty well hidden. I could certainly hear them though.
