Cooking and a Little Cat

which feels like Sunday
with quiet streets
and nothing going on.

A perfect day for making a recipe that takes quite long to prepare and for playing with bouncy balls with Honey. She adores that game and dashes madly from the living room to the entrance. leaping in the air to catch the balls mid-bounce. Very good exercise for her and of great amusement to me!

The Aubergine Parmigiano was really delicious and the fruity Primitivo di Manduria wine was perfect for this dish.

Honey had been playing ball and nibbling a few cat biscuits before jumping on her favourite chair. I do love watching her wash most meticulously (especially behind the ears) before settling in for a snooze on teddy's lap!

The weather started sunny and in the mid-afternoon some clouds came over.
