Acton Square

It's our annual conference tomorrow and I do believe that everything is in good order. Still, best to be in the Salford office today, just in case anything did crop up*. 

I started off with a swim and coffee, drunk on Acton Square, the view from which is pictured, and then went along to the office. 

My old friend, Tony, who is doing the video, arrived around 4pm, and we took all the conference kit plus his gear 'round to the hotel, and then went back to the Old Firestation to enjoy a glass of wine and wait for the Minx. 

And after that we joined all our speakers at Comptoir for dinner, which, as these things do, started off slowly but then happily warmed into a very enjoyable evening. 

*It didn't, thankfully.
