Wood avens (Geum urbanum)

This little widl flower, to most a weed, is a victim of its own success. Whilst I allow this very successful flower to run its life cycle, I will pull it all up before it self seeds. It is a perennial, so no worries there.
I shot this with a carl zeis pancolour 50mm with a broken aperture pin, stuck wide open @ f1.8. A vintage lens and quite sharp wide open.
