Stary
Newtown is the place for graffiti - and murals, street art, concrete art, guerrilla art and advertising masquerading as art. Stary was happy to have his photo taken, front or back. Further on I took pics for three young Chinese women in front of the “It’s a jungle sometimes” mural. (A misunderstanding, I wanted to take a photo of them.) Two Allen Ginsburgs and a stanza from “Howl” on the back of a terrace were rejected. A name mentioned in two other pieces of graffiti turned out to be that of the American who self-immolated in protest earlier this year.
Some temporary extras.
Thanks for hosting Carolina.
