SANDWICH TERN

A couple of days ago I saw on a local site that there were sandwich terns at the Headland but only saw this one when I went this afternoon. However it stayed long enough to blip and obliged with a couple of wing stretches before flying off. There were lots of eiders about on the rocks (extra) and floating in rafts and I was happy to see three gannets fly past up the coast (extra), as we don't get those locally.
