Summer House at Lake Pielinen

The summer house has always been and still is the only place where I can completely relax. The lake is magnificent, entirely clean and clear. The scenery profoundly magnificent and truly Finnish. Tall, slender pine trees, wild blueberries and heather as far as the eye can see.

I bathed in the lake, napped on the beach, played badminton with my brother. At 7pm, I was still sunbathing by the lake, getting hot then dipping into the water to cool down. I am so fortunate to have a place like this in my life and to have spent every single childhood summer there! Until next year......
