Out on the bike again this morning. I went too far and for too long, I was pretty spent by the time I limped back home at lunchtime. This getting back to fitness is going to take some time I can see.

Out to the flicks in the afternoon, to The Cameo for Roberto Rossellini's 1945 neorealist classic 'Rome, Open City'. I'd never seen it before, happy to report it was terrific.

Carrying on the Italian theme with pizza-making back at ours. I really should crack on, that dough's not gonna roll itself now.
