Roll With It

Good Effort

I could have probably finished the external power supply upgrade at the rugby club today had I not run out of cable and access!
The access is due to the store where I need to run the cable rather than being sorted out as requested has had more junk dumped in the entrance.
We did make a start on improving the grounds appearance - first impressions count - strimming the long grass and tidying but as always; too few with too much to do.

Today’s photo is another from yesterday, Black Rock, the isolated rock located in the entrance of Falmouth Harbour. It roughly divides the entrance into two distinct channels, the eastern deep-water channel and the western shallower channel.
Last night the Epic Evening Row Crew decided on a long row with some keen to “break their Black Rock cherry”. We set off at 6:00pm, in slack water 15 minutes after low tide, freshening breeze which picked up and a rippled sea increasing to a Beaufort 2 once we had passed the end of the harbour.
Sixty minutes and some determined effort to cover the three miles out and reach Black Rock, we went past it to give us room to turn in the conditions and began the run home.
A little over the thirty-five minutes to get back with the wind and tide behind us.
A good feeling.
