Today's the day ........................ to swelter

The fir cones of this Korean Fir (Abies koreana) are looking at their best just now - and remind me of blackcurrant ice-lollies.

I could just have done with one of those this afternoon actually, when things just got a bit too hot for comfort round here ...................!
