Magdalenafjorden
This morning our boat was positioned in Gullybukta, a southern bay of the Magdalenafjorden in Albert I Land. The tidewater galcier Gullybreen calves into this bay behond a small spit of land which is known for being a haul-out spot for walrus.
The weather, however, brought snow and rocky waters, unsuitable for us to go out in Zodiacs. So it's been a restful Sunday on board the boat, with wonderfully ethereal views from the deck. We will wait out the snow until tomorrow.
