The Feast of Pentecost.
I love this Feast Day as much as Christmas and Easter. It is very spiritual and not materialistic. The fruits of the Holy Spirit are love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness and self control. When Jesus sent His Spirit the impact on His apostles was supernaturally transformative.
One of my favourite modern day evangelists is Liz Wright. I have read three of her excellent books and make a time space on Thursday at 4:30pm to listen to her on godtv. She has great spiritual encounters with the Lord. He healed her and gave her hope at a difficult time in her life.
It is sunny and warm here and I have been out for a stroll to buy the paper. The birds are singing and people are cutting their lawns. We are waiting a couple more weeks.
I have cleaned out two cat litters, fed the garden birds and cleaned the bird bath. It is used by magpies, pigeons and blackbirds. Then I watered the plants and seedlings in the greenhouse, where the temperature is nearly 65f already. It is 20.4c in the living room and 70f in the conservatory.
I will say the Rosary and attend online Mass. I will enjoy reading in a cool place in the garden.
