These peaks are an important symbol of Vancouver…and gave the Lions Gate Bridge and Lions Gate Movies their names.

In the past these peaks could be seen from just about anywhere in the city. As the city grew upwards they became increasingly less visible.

I just happened to catch this peek-a-boo view between two high rises.
