Sleepy Boy
I've decided to have a barbecue tomorrow, so I did some preparation for it today. Bought some mince from the butcher to make burgers and I'm going to have a go at making brioche buns. I'm also going to make the chocolate & raspberry tart I made for Orla's nursery teacher, but I did cheat this time and buy some ready-made short crust pastry. Ridiculous really given how easy it is to make.
I've also succeeded in ticking a couple of other tasks off my list, including mailing birthday presents to Australia and making an appointment for a contact lense check-up. Conor and I spent most of the afternoon with my Mum. In between our trips to Kilsyth and Cumbernauld we watched the final set of the women's final at Wimbledon. I was glad Marion Bartoli won, I thought she really deserved it.
Dad asked me to bring Conor to the bowling club. There was much coo-ing over him and when we left he was up £7. Conor got a bit fractious in Cumbernauld Tesco and instead of feeding him, I gave him some water. He took about 3oz and then was fine, so he was obviously thirsty. He fell asleep in the car. How am I supposed to get him to 9 months in this car seat? Although we didn't with Orla, she moved up into the forward-facing car seat at 7 months.
Late edit: Look at my girl. She looks so grown up. I may not recognise her when she comes home!
