Aira Falls

Glorious day today. We started with a visit to Threlkeld Mining Museum followed by a meander through the countryside on our way to Penrith station to drop my sister-in-law off.

A quick look round Penrith castle then on to Ulswater and Aira Falls. Mum did really well. We started at the bottom and climbed up past Aira Falls and Higher Force and then walked across country to Dockray, where the pub was a very welcome sight for a refreshing drink!
