Can't Breathe for Bracken!

Decided to go for a walk this afternoon where I used to play as a child. I loved the Ferry Island it was a magical place. How very different it is now! It was an impossible and unpleasant walk but we decided to fight our way through the bracken to see if there was any bits worth reaching - there wasn't!

I believe the land is like this due to the lack of stock grazing and this is the way a lot of Scotland is going to end up looking

Such a shame. My husband is 6ft tall just to give you an idea of how high it was!!
