Floating
I spent the morning at Foulshaw Moss, the afternoon at Leighton Moss. It has been sunny and warm, very pleasant. And I have seen some interesting wildlife.
The main is a swan feather floating on the large mere. Top left, a damselfly passes by, and a small fly also features.,
The extras are two types of damselfly mating (it’s known as the wheel position apparently). Two chaser dragonflies - four spotted and broad bodied (the latter with a lovely blue thorax). An adder that crossed in front of me at Foulshaw Moss. An osprey eating a fish on a dead tree at Leighton Moss - I saw it dive towards the water at some distance, and then carry the fish to its feeding perch. And cotton grass - only when I looked at the image did I see the spider on top. This mophead reminds me of a well known personages hairstyle. I have added too many extras, so I will delete them in a day or two.
