Wizard

It was about this time I realised the new owners of the Goblin Ha’ really had gone all in on the story of Sir Hugo de Giffard who was known as the "Wizard of Yester".

Legend has it that Hugo was able, via a pact with the Devil, to raise a magical army to his aid, and use them to carry out his will. It is this army of hobgoblins that was considered the builders of Yester Castle around the corner from the pub. Unfortunately it’s now on the verge of collapse and is a death trap so I hope they don’t start running tours.

Meanwhile, the sun was shining and I had a long overdue, and much postponed, catch up with Andrew which was most enjoyable, we won’t leave it another five years.
