Smardale ford

We have had a very chilled day today, checking out Kirkby Stephen this morning which is only about 3 miles from our cottage.  This afternoon I wandered down the road from our cottage until I came to a ford which was cool and inviting on quite a hot day.  The wildflowers along the verge were beautiful - still a few bluebells, wild garlic, red campion and some I couldn't identify, including the one in extras.  Checking Google, it might be water avens but hopefully a blipper will know what it is!  I had the wrong lens with me so it's not a very good photo.
