Full bloom

Had intended to have a lie in but my brain had other ideas.  Got up and was out walking the hound just before 7am.  It was slightly misty and fairly quiet.

The morning was gloomy.  Decided to bake some sunflower seed and honey biscuits.  

Weather picked up by 3pm when I headed out for second dog walk.  Then it became a bit too warm for Kyro.  Met a different dog walker,  Steve and his terrier cross Holly who wanted a chat.  Sometimes I find it difficult to break away, feeling it's rude, especially as Kyro was getting too hot.  

On our way back home my name was called by Jim who'd recently lost is gentle grey staffie, Lu.  He was offering me dog treats.  He said he'd already given Lu's things to the Trussell Trust so I suggested he give the treats to them and thanked him for thinking of Kyro. 

Weather looks pleasant tomorrow.  Early morning dog walk on the cards then.
