"Mad Mike"

My husband is 59 today - very grateful for him, and all the years we've spent together. I've been too taken up with my Mum in hospital to make a cake or anything, but Lydie and Danny saved the day and got him a cupcake with a candle in it.

Father Gregory, a Dutch Jesuit priest, came to talk to our group about "examen" - we've been praying it for years, but he gave us a lot of new insight, and what a lovely man.

Off now to help cook for 90, to raise funds for a centre in Mozambique...
