Plenty of boats to look out onto
A day in Oban, the weather was perfect for sitting out on the ferry deck and traipsing around town. Another good visit to the osteopath and plenty of chat on the ferry home. Other people and their lives. I met a couple who liked to travel and visit the islands, they had a lovely dog, although
hated all the car horns which set off each time the ferry changed course. The downside to sitting outside. The pilot had to negotiate dozens of small yachts out on the Sound of Mull, a variation to the normal route taken with plenty of car horns hooting to annoy passengers and dogs. I wonder if those out in the smaller boats could hear the horns? (When a driver locks the car door this sets the car alarm. John tells me he locks the door when parked on the ferry deck to turn off the systems, he then unlocks it, this way our car doesn’t join the cacophony, technology…..)
A good day out and good to arrive home to cool off.
