On the straw...

An early start today to get some cattle fed before heading off to the airport to collect Junior . He has been away travelling for 3 months.
Back in to Edinburgh to go out for breakfast ,then dropped Mrs F off at work, left Littlemiss in town as well ,and headed back home.
Kev on mucking out,while I went round all the outside cattle. Another cow had calved ,a Hereford x,so managed to sneak them through the gate into the field behind the steading. . Think the calf has had a suck.
The contractor had some bales of straw with dodgy net wrap on them,so said I would take them. Hopefully they won't fall to bits when I use them. Neil and Alan brought them up with the unimog and new Stewart trailer.
Back in to town to collect Mrs F from work and collect Littlemiss. Had forgotten how much fun rush hour traffic can be !
