Home time

The sunshine was so welcome today and made for the most perfect late afternoon together once Chris finished up at work. We walked to the West End for delicious family "pizza time" and then even more fabulous ice cream (homemade apple pie, strawberry and peanut butter). Then, we ambled home, enjoying the last of the warmth and light. E was thrilled to be allowed to run ahead by the Water of Leith, giggling and chatting the whole way back. I never want to forget the way she runs with such determination, glee, pride and a hint of Granny!
