New clubs

It was the eldest class assembly this morning.  It was nice to see her looking more confident than usual and she sang her heart out. 

Left school at 10:30 and rushed to work,  did some work and then left the office late and rushed to school pick up. The year 5s were doing a fundraiser in the playground for their residential.  They were in teams and had £5 to buy supplies to make things to sell or run an activity to raise money.  They girls favourite thing was paying 50p to throw wet sponges at their friends! 

A quick dash home to change and take I to try out a new class - Acro.  To her delight the Acro teacher turned out to be her gymnastics teacher so she loved that.

Back home for a peanut butter sandwich and out to a trial cricket lesson for B, when we got there I decided she wanted to try that too so she joined in as well.   

B was asked if she wants to play in a match tomorrow because they are a player down and I guess a complete newbie who doesn't even know the rules is better than no one! She is very excited!
