It is coming to life

This is the garden just outside the cafe at the New Inn at Stowe Landscape Garden.

This garden was created last December when we planted a mixture of herbaceous plants during a very cold and frosty time. The border was covered with a porous membrane and then six inches of gravel was spread over the site. We had to make planting holes through the gravel and the membrane for each plant. The result after six months is encouraging . Good to be involved in such a project.
