Crocus Carpet

It’s that time of year again and I am so glad to be able to walk on the hill again even if it is only for a half day. There was only one other person on the Grand Chamossaire this morning and 14 female bouquetin. I’d just started taking photos when a helicopter flew to the summit and the bouquetin fled! Just the one in extra stopped running to turn around to say hello.
