The advent of summer and the eve of Tanabata

It has not been officially announced but it seems like the summer is here, in Tokyo. Today, the temperature rose above 32C, with high humidity. Tomorrow is the Tanabata festival of 2013. As I went outside this morning, these Tanabata decorations in the neighbourhood were swaying in the strong, hot wind.
