The yellows and the greens

A clearer day; could see the hazy outline of Bennachie in the distance from the usual high point. This is looking the other way; there's a low ridge of hills between here and Banff. 

Spent the morning sorting and throwing out. More to do. Afternoon walk up through the big beech wood on the hill ridge near the Aberchirder road. Chaffinches flying ahead of me on the road back down. A few swallows, skylarks, and a oystercatcher. Usually they nest in the sown crops.
