The Stragglers
I believe today started with the gym, and a bump-into Amos, who came up to see the flat and kindly waited for me in the kitchen with a cuppa while I showered and got dressed. Headed out into town to meet Francesca, and walked to hers to hang out while she got ready for the graduation ball (she'd just got back from London for her dad's stag do, and was going back for the wedding the next day!). Hung out in my new denim shirt, and got a lift home with Francesca's housemate Dom, who was taking her, Katie and Tim to their friend's house as a stop-off before campus.
Did kind of regret not going to grad ball, but I couldn't really afford it in the end. And writing this a bit later, I don't feel full of remorse! Really was just looking forward to hearing about it from everyone, including Jack, who I was a bit worried about truth be told, as he had a 20 hour grad ball shift and had gone out to Kelsey's after helping out with sound in the Zephyr Lounge the night before, and had very little sleep and even less to eat for the past day and a bit! Silly.
Apparently my annoyance came through, though, because looking through texts from the night I see I got a bit angsty while staying in. Oh dear.
P.S., rubbish photo, I know. I made it black and white to try and make it less horrible.
