Happy Birthday to Gracie Twinkle-toes

Here's the birthday kitty playing with her special gift for the 3rd birthday. Our neighbour who has particular fondness and understanding for GT-t gave her a plastic bag stuffed with dog fur that came off the brush. [It is animal shedding season]:>
For some reason, GTt is crazy about this fur. It acts like catnip on her.
In this picture she's pulling the bag toward herself to cuddle with it. The sparkly coloured bunch of mylar ribbons at the end of her "baby" is another old favourite. It is a wand that she drags everywhere when she need reassurance that she's not alone. She loves this toy and has gone through three generations of it as she has grown bigger over the years.

GTt was born in Oxford at the Little Mews Cat Rescue and Foundling Home. Her brother was also a tuxedo design polydactyl (extra toes and thumbs). He went to live with a 77 year old woman in another village. Now that she's matured I am pleased to announce that she's stopped breaking valuables daily. Perhaps that's because those crystal bowls and glassware are in the trash and there is not much left to dispose of.
