A Lovely Day
Sad to be leaving LV behind, though he left first with his show in Newbury beckoning. It has been great to catch up and relax with him. But we also had a good day to look forward to. Thankfully, after LV had managed to remove an internet engineer's van from the end of the drive, getting out of the narrow lane into the road was easier than ingress.
We drove up to Warkworth Castle near the coast, which is depicted eerily in this photo taken from the beach a couple of miles away when we were in glorious sunshine and fresh oxygenated air, but the town of Warkworth was shrouded in a curious haze that didn't seem to exist when we were at the castle. Found the little crab in a rock pool on our walk at the sea, took a lot of photos but can't post them all, it is a beautiful spot and I love the sea.
Then we drove via the Morwick Dairy for ice cream and a refill of our bottle with raw milk and on to Tranwell Farm Camping ground - an off grid solar powered simple camping site with no mains electricity apart from lighting and hot water from the solar panels. Then it was into Morpeth on Uber to have a delightful meal at an Italian restaurant with Bex (see extra) and interesting converstation covering all manner of subjects theological, practical, relational and gardening! Back at the campsite tired and ready for bed, but with limited mobile internet waiting for extras to load!
