Thinking About Boats
A visit this morning to see the West Country Photographic Alliance (WCPF) members exhibition at Seale Hayne College, near Newton Abbot. A fascinating building which was used in 1918 as a military hospital to treat military personnel suffering from shell shock. Afterwards we had a walk around the harbour at Teignmouth. This was Eileen, one of the many small vessels which grace the shoreline here. My biggest regret was not getting an image of two men near the pier pushing a trolley with an imitation peregrine falcon on it. I think it was probably designed to deter the seagulls. What really struck me as odd was that they were talking to it as they pushed it along!
