Take one, return one

I had to take a trip to Amado to see my doctor again. Amado is very rural but only 17 km south of Green Valley. It’s a predominantly Spanish speaking community so everyone who works in the clinic is bilingual. It’s great to have a medical clinic embedded here.

The clinic is attached to the food bank. In between the two doors is this little free library. One woman was poring over the limited selection and eventually found something to her liking. The food bank is important to the Amado community for providing food but it’s also important for providing services and resources. Amongst them is the little free library.
