In the pink

Shorter day today because I didn't feel well by lunchtime.  In the end I couldn't stay awake, logged off my computer and went straight to bed.  I dropped off with Classic FM playing on minimum volume and woke two hours later.

After not much tea I felt better and spent an hour or more mowing the lawn.  Well, I say 'lawn' but 'thicket' would've been more accurate.  The grass had shot up over the last few months, probably as a consequence of leaving the cuttings on the grass last time.

It's been misty and not brilliantly warm all day but my flowers are blooming nicely.  I'm not sure what they are but I think it might be a variety of Bergenia.

I was very pleased to receive an honourable mention for my tiny tuesday millipede and a no.2 award for yesterday's wide angular landscape.
