Panic In The Disco

My Dear Princess and Dear Fellow,

Next month it will be 25 years since my very first date with Caro and I didn't feel I could let this date pass.

This is way more important to me than my wedding anniversary which I very rarely remember.

I think it's November 7th? Is it the 6th?

I'll look it up.

So anyway, I am planning a party here in Wellington. You are both invited but unlikely to attend, I know this. So I've been inviting everyone here in Wellington.

"It's going to be a Kainga Ora party, isn't it?" said Caro.

I told her no, probably only about 95% of attendees.

"PLUS," I added. "Because of the restructure that's going on, MANY OF THEM will have lost their jobs by then!"

Loophole!

All the same, I am experiencing party-anxiety. Because the aforementioned restructure did a big steaming sh*t on my party invitation, I'm not sure how many people will actually turn up.

It could be just me, Caro and Briar and 30 pizzas.

All the same, the plan goes ahead. I have nearly completed the playlist and am working on a PowerPoint of photos from

"I HAVE VETO RIGHTS!!!" squealed Caro.

It's like she does not trust me at all. After 25 years, I guess she knows better.

S.
