Aurora

What a show! 

Last November we did a family star gazing event for TWWs birthday. It was pretty special and since then I've followed the photography page of the person who ran the night. He also has an aurora chanel and so when the alerts started to come last Friday I wondered whether to head somewhere for dark skies. Laziness and a Friday night on the sofa won, but at 11.40pm he said to get outside, so we did. 

It was pretty special, when I took this it did look like the sky was cracking open. There are many better photos from this display, but I thought I'd add this into my blip, because it's worth remembering the awe and beauty.
