Flycatcher

I hear them often and my Merlin Bird app assures me that they're in the area...("queeEEEP" is their identifying call), but I'm seldom able to get a good shot of one. This Great Crested Flycatcher was the exception. Such a handsome bird! Just wish that he had raised his 'crest' for the shot! He posed long enough for me to snap several shots of him before he flew off in search of a tasty insect brunch. m
