Good-Bye Our Sweet Kitty
Hubby was exhausted I guess. He did not get up until almost 10/00. He hurt his right wrist somehow and could not get comfortable in bed. He went to the recliner around 6. I stayed quiet until he got up. I did general clean up from unpacking and spent time with Millie. This collage captures the only activities she has been able to do recently: eat, drink, and lay on her soft bed. Hubby cleaned the camper and caught up his financial accounting. We took Millie to the vet. We had diagnosed her correctly. She weighed six pounds, up 2 lbs since January. The vet said she had a mass, probably on her liver and spleen. I read last week that one in four pets develop cancer. For us, it has been 3 of 3. We let the children know that we are out of the pet business. We got our groceries for cooking before we leave Friday morning. Hubby will bury Millie while I put everything away. Sure hope your day was more cheerful. This evening, we will watch the live stream of Mancil’s academic achievements. That should lift our spirits. Stay safe. Thanks for visiting. “When the cat you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure.” –Unknown
