The water taxi.
No rain today!
Infact plenty of sunshine.
We drove to Helford and caught the ferry across to Helford Passage.
Quite a choppy crossing, but enjoyable.
Then walked along the coast path to Durgan.
So many different wild flowers everywhere. Lovely views of the river and nice walk through the woods.
Surprise, surprise we met my cousin and wife coming the other way. We stopped for a chat and then met up later as we got back to Helford Passage.
They then went on their way back to Maenporth and we caught the ferry back to Helford.
Just managed to get the last crab sandwich at the Holy Mackerel cafe.
They are still THE Best. Lovely brown bread, delicious crab and plenty of it, and delicious salad which included samphire and a very tasty dressing. Will worth the £15. and enough for both of us.
Called in to see our friends R & B who live in Porthleven. They insisted we stay for tea, and after much banter, laughter and putting the world to rights we left just before it got dark.
A very enjoyable day. Unfortunately tomorrow is our last before moving on to Devon.
By the way the fish last night was fabulous.
Wish we could get Megrim back home.
