Rose "Golden Wedding"

A cool cloudy day until sunshine appeared very late afternoon. The wind was quite chilly when exposed to it, so it wasn't much of a hardship to be indoors for most of it preparing for French friends due to visit at the weekend. The inevitable Tesco run took much longer than expected as a huge foreign articulated lorry was trying to negotiate a narrow lane with a delivery for a local farm. It was stuck on a bend and so traffic was building up both front and rear. Eventually the driver was persuaded to reverse to a slightly wider section by a motorist who had some form of translation service on his phone. That cleared the blockage, and as a precaution I took another route home from Tesco.
 Rose are coming into bloom in the garden and I was all set to capture another plant when this bloom caught my eye.
