Serpents

Its been a very busy day starting with dismantling, cleaning and re-assembling the pond filters. After that I finally got the ride-on mower working. The previous owners left it behind but the battery was flat and I've had to work out the controls. It should make a big difference to my mowing time in the garden and paddock although I won't be able to use it on the half acre hill as its far too steep. I've also planted out my runner beans and walked the spaniel. My blip is of the forestry commission track high up on the hill behind us where we walk most days. I heard from the neighbouring farmer that its a favourite basking area for adders so we will have to tread more warily in future.
