As it was raining this morning we did our walk at Needham Lake.  The path surrounding the lake is firm so ideal for walking in wet weather.  
The rain cleared lunchtime so I've spent the afternoon trimming back the vigorous growth on the Japonica shrub and pulling up some of the spent Forget Me Nots, it's made a couple of areas look much tidier.
There are several clumps of Yellow Flag Iris scattered alongside the Lake which made for some welcome colour on a grey morning.
