Wednesday: Weigela

Blue sky and grey sky, a pleasant enough day … but it went very hot and it also went chilly … something for everybody!

I transplanted some chives seedlings which I’d grown from seed, there are also Welsh onions also from seed and the Stuttgarter onion sets - https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/3231717037210340113 - planted a week or so ago have also sent green shoots up, we should have enough onions … I hope.

MrD has ordered some shallots which I grow as bunching or salad onions, he’d also ordered Mr Fothergill plant plugs of Digitalis “Dalmatian Peach” which were a very nice surprise when they arrived this morning and I’ve potted them up already :-)
