Nea Makri

An effortless transition to Athens airport where I met up with the Ramblers group, 11 of us, and we traveled the short distance to Makri by minibus. A quiet suburb of the city that feels completely non touristy, situated between the port of Rafina and Marathon. Our guide is impressive having spent the last fortnight reccying all the planned walks on Tinos and Andros and scouting out the best tavernas.
Looking forward to a convivial couple of weeks and some fabulous relaxed walking.
