Northern Lights

Never in my life did I expect to see from Oldham an auroral display so powerful that I didn't have to look north because it was overhead and to the south. This image is looking directly overhead, a 4 seconds exposure. 
Although the colours are enhanced they were clearly visible to the naked eye, it was breathtaking and I think that I'm still recovering!
