Portsmouth day
The reason for our day in Portsmouth was to visit an old friend of mine. She and her late husband Wag Bennett were the early mentors of Arnold Schwarzenegger in England. That was from 1966 through to 1969 when he made the move to USA.
From 1970 onwards I started visiting Wag and Dianne every year when I was in England for shooting the Universe competition. They were a great assistance to my career. Today I recorded some of the lifetime reminiscences of Dianne.
The main photo shows the modern structure that welcomes us to Portsmouth. In the extras see Paladian with an old friend Ian who is a former Mr. Europe. Then the 2 tribute rooms to Arnold in Dianne’s gym. This is where Arnold trained in his late teenage years when he stayed with the Bennetts.
